STAINS & DYE WASHES
Acid stains and dye washes can be blended for a dramatic watercolor
effect. Acid stains chemically react with concrete, creating
a permanent color that won't fade, chip or peel. They are
variegated and mottled in color, resembling weathered bronze
or patined copper.
Dye washes are translucent color pigments that penetrate
into concrete pores, adding to the depth and richness of color.
By blending acid stains and dye washes together in a precise
manner, one-dimensional floors can take on the characteristic
of a prismatic painting. When permanently colored and sealed,
architectural concrete takes on a nuance of light and shadow;
making it an ideal flooring option. |
